Recognized Maintenance Facility

Pratt & Whitney Canada Corp has appointed Rocky Mountain Aircraft as a Recognized Maintenance Facility (RMF) for its PT6 and JT15D engine models. Rocky Mountain Aircraft will offer engine support services to operators of PWC powered aircraft in Canada with the advantage of a one-stop-shop support for both aircraft and engines at its facility.

Rocky Mountain Aircraft specializes in line and heavy maintenance, conversions and avionics on aircraft up to 5700 KG gross take-off weight. It has developed many Canadian and U.S. Supplemental Type Certificates and is a Twin Otter specialist.

Operators of PWC powered aircraft will now benefit from the full resources of the engine manufacturer and Rocky Mountain Aircraft's outstanding reputation for high quality aircraft and engine maintenance services. We will offer our customers fly-in service, engine removal and installation and on-wing troubleshooting and repairs. This will complement the PWC Regional Service Centre in Calgary, Alberta. Close co-operation with PWC's Calgary Regional Service Centre, combined with a full range of services offered by Rocky Mountain Aircraft will ensure responsive support and fast turn-around times.
